COUPLE PLEASE HOLD HANDS.
Dearly Beloved, We're gathered here in the presence of God and this assembly to unite this man and this woman in the Holy bonds of matrimony. The Apostle Paul said marriage is to be honored by all men and this is the reason a man shall leave his father and mother and cleave unto his wife and they shall be twined as one. As you affirm your faith and love for one another I ask you to always remember to cherish each other and hold each other in high esteem, always respect the thoughts, ideas, and suggestions of each other. You will both make mistakes in your marriage and you must always be willing to compromise, forgive each other and communicate with each other. From this day forward, remember the hands your holding are the hands of your life long soul mate, your very best friend and your confidant. This marriage ceremony represents, a life long commitment and your vocal declaration of the deep, abiding love you have for each other.
Declaration of intent
A. Groom: I, say your full name __________, will you have this woman to be your wedded wife? To live in the Holy estate of matrimony? Will you love her, comfort her, honor and keep her, and forsaking all others keep yourself only to her? Till death do you part?
B. Bride: I, say your full name __________, will you have this man to be your wedded husband? To live together in the holy estate of matrimony? Will you love him, comfort him, honor and keep him, and forsaking all others keep yourself only to him? Till death do you part?
VOWS TO BE REPEATED AFTER MINISTER
